Orca Dream

Perhaps no other animal on earth holds such complete mastery of its realm as the orca. Supremely intelligent, these powerful creatures are born into a family group and remain with that group for the rest of their lives. In his new bronze sculpture “Orca Dream,” Wyland captures a lone orca in a rush of speed, as it travels through its northern Pacific home. The artist heightens the impact of the signature black and white markings of the orca with a unique patina and careful use of detail.
