Serenity Sea Extra Large

In his ever-evolving quest to create artworks that capture the vision in his mind’s eye, Wyland has collaborated over the years with some of the world’s finest artists. By combining his style with artists of different techniques, using different media, Wyland continues to shift our perspective of — and appreciation for — our ocean planet. In “Serenity Sea,” Wyland and artist Stephen Muldoon share an epic sunset in the Florida Keys as the light fades on a pair of dolphins in the waters below. “This is the first time that I’ve painted directly on metal,”Wyland says. “At first, I found it to be quite a challenge. But after a few days I began to really enjoy the look of paint on this medium. Now, I feel that these are among my favorite collaborations.”
