Shipwreck

I have been diving ship wrecks all over the world for nearly 40 years. In this painting I wanted to give the viewer a sharks eye view into the secret deep blue ocean realm. This is where ships from the beginning of time have sank to the seafloor, creating a new habitat for an abundance of sea life and also great subject matter for marine artists. In this piece I wanted to feature one of the oceans apex predators, the great white shark cruising past an old pirate ship. Yes, the ocean view is erie but at the same time very peaceful. I am publishing this scene for the first time as limited edition on canvas.
